Travel portraits for an extended family from Las Vegas

Anna first found me through Instagram while planning her trip from Las Vegas to Washington, D.C. She reached out with a sweet message: her whole family would be traveling together, and she wanted to make the most of their time in DC by capturing updated portraits at an iconic spot.

I suggested the Jefferson Memorial — and as soon as she saw it, she was all in.

We met on a crisp fall morning, and everything just clicked. From multi-generational portraits to candid laughter on the steps and soft moments by the water, this extended family session was full of joy and connection. The mix of classic architecture, warm tones, and their perfectly coordinated outfits made the whole session feel timeless.

Whether they were gathered in one big group, paired off in sweet duos, or just taking in the view, Anna’s family made this session special. I’m so grateful to have captured these memories for a family visiting DC with so much love and energy.
