This is my popular package for couples looking for something short and sweet.

This mini session is perfect for capturing your connection without the need for a full-length engagement shoot. We’ll create light, natural, and timeless images at a DC location of your choice (except locations requiring permits — clients are responsible for securing permits if needed).

✨ Special Offer: When you book me for your micro wedding, you’ll receive this mini engagement session completely free — anywhere in DC (permit locations excluded). This promotion is available for bookings made through December 31, 2025.

This is my favorite session length for engagements. You’ll get all the essential shots plus extra time for authentic, relaxed moments to unfold naturally.

We’ll start with gently guided poses to help you feel confident, then focus on capturing your true connection — the laughter, the quiet moments, and everything in between. No rush, just natural and meaningful images.

This package is perfect for couples planning an intimate wedding or elopement, where you want every meaningful moment captured — from your vows to candid interactions with your closest loved ones. My approach focuses on natural, light-filled images that tell the real story of your day without forced poses.

More Info

All photography hours must be consecutive.
If you choose to use the complimentary 30-minute engagement session on your wedding day, your total coverage time will be 2.5, 3.5, or 4.5 hours depending on your selected package.
If your ceremony and reception are at different locations, a $200 travel fee applies.
The complimentary engagement session can take place anywhere within 10 miles of MD 20902.
If you choose a location beyond 10 miles, a travel fee equal to the mini session price ($399) will apply.
If you prefer a different location, a $300 fee will apply to cover extra travel, scouting, and prep.
If you’d like to use the complimentary session during Cherry Blossom season, a 50% session fee applies due to high demand.
A $100 fee applies if you schedule the complimentary session on a weekend.
Required photography permits are the client’s responsibility.

$500 — Additional Hour of Coverage: Add more time to your session or wedding day. Includes ~80 extra edited images per hour.
$800 — 20-Page Custom Photo Book: Beautifully designed album using your favorite images.
$150 — Custom USB Drive: Includes your full edited gallery in high resolution.

Step 2: Secure Your Date

Once your booking is confirmed, I’ll send a detailed confirmation email along with the next steps to help us both prepare.

• You’ll receive a form to fill out with your wedding details — this helps me understand your vision and plan for the moments that matter most to you.
• If you’ve selected the complimentary 30-minute engagement session, I’ll provide parking and meeting point details to make everything easy.
• You’ll receive my PDF guide on how to prepare for your engagement session, along with styling tips, outfit inspiration, and location ideas.
• I’ll also send my wedding prep PDF (if applicable) to guide you on how to feel comfortable and confident on your big day.
• A reminder will be sent the day before your session or wedding to reconfirm all details so you feel ready and at ease.

Step 3: Prep & Plan

This is where we work together to make sure everything is smooth, fun, and beautifully prepared!

For Your Engagement Session (if included or booked separately):
• Timeline & Light: I’ll help you choose the best time of day for soft, flattering light — golden hour is often ideal. I don’t reschedule for cloudy or sunny weather (both create beautiful results), but I do reschedule for rain.
• Location: We’ll finalize the perfect location — your home, a DC monument, a favorite park, or a studio (studio rental up to $300/hr).
• Styling: You’ll receive my styling guide with outfit ideas, color tips, and textures that photograph beautifully. I’m happy to review your outfit choices or assist with my client wardrobe (when available).
• Permits: If a location requires a photography permit, clients are responsible for securing it.

For Your Wedding Day:
• Your date and time will already be confirmed and secured on my calendar when you book.
• We’ll review your timeline together so I understand what’s most important to capture — from the ceremony to the little in-between moments.
• I’ll offer guidance on how to stay relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera so you can simply enjoy your day.

Step 4: Your Session Day

Engagement Session:
Your engagement session is all about enjoying the moment together while creating beautiful, natural images. I’ll gently guide you with simple posing tips, but the focus is on capturing your real connection — no stiff or awkward poses. We’ll work at a relaxed pace so you feel confident and comfortable.

Wedding Day:
This is your day to shine! I’ll document your wedding with a storytelling approach — focusing on genuine moments, beautiful light, and all the details that make your day special. No forced poses or awkward setups, just honest, heartfelt images that reflect your true connection.

Whether it’s the quiet moments before the ceremony, the joy of your vows, or candid interactions with loved ones, I’ll be there to capture it all so you can relive your day for years to come.

Step 5: Gallery Delivery & Keepsakes

Your fully edited gallery will be ready within the promised timeline:

• Mini & Deluxe Mini Sessions — within 21 days
• Signature & In-Studio Sessions — within 14 days
• Micro Weddings — within 4–6 weeks
• (Rush delivery available: 2 days for $350)

You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can view, download, share, and choose your favorite images for prints, albums, or keepsakes. You can also conveniently order printed wedding invitations directly through my website to add a personal, cohesive touch to your wedding details.

01. How do we book you for our wedding or engagement session?

For engagement sessions (mini or signature), you can book directly through my booking link. For micro weddings, please fill out my inquiry form first so I can check availability. I’ll send you a contract and invoice after confirming the date. Your date is reserved once the contract is signed and the retainer is paid.

02. Do you offer a complimentary engagement session with micro wedding packages?

Yes! Every micro wedding package includes a complimentary 30-minute engagement session. You can choose to use this as a separate session or add the time to your wedding day coverage (extending from 4 hours to 4.5 hours).

03. How many photos will we receive?

You’ll receive about 80 edited images per hour of wedding coverage.

Engagement sessions: based on your package, typically from 6 to the full gallery of edited images.

04. How long does it take to get our photos?

• Engagement sessions: 14–21 days
• Micro weddings: 4–6 weeks
• Rush delivery: Available within 48 hours for $350

05. What’s your photography style?

My style is light, natural, and connection-focused with true-to-color editing. I aim to capture genuine moments without stiff poses or forced smiles. Your gallery will reflect the real feel of the day — timeless and authentic.

06. What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?

Engagement Sessions:
I don’t reschedule for cloudy or sunny weather — both can create beautiful and unique results! However, I will reschedule your engagement session in the case of rain or severe weather, as I want you to have the best experience possible.

Wedding Day:
Since your wedding date and timeline are set, I’ll work with whatever conditions we have on the day. I’ll help scout covered areas if needed and adjust as we go to make sure you still receive beautiful, meaningful images no matter the weather.

07. Do we need a photography permit?

If your location requires a permit (such as monuments or certain parks), clients are responsible for securing it. I can guide you on which locations need permits and how to apply.

08. Do you help us plan the timeline?

Engagement Sessions:
Yes! I help plan the timing and flow of your engagement session so everything feels relaxed and easy. I typically recommend doing these sessions in the morning for the best soft light, cooler temperatures, and fewer crowds.

Wedding Day:
Your wedding planner or coordinator will be in charge of creating and managing the overall timeline. I’ll review it with you to ensure there’s enough time for photography and that key moments are captured naturally.

⚠️ Please note: I’m not responsible for gathering guests or family members for group photos — that’s something your planner, coordinator, or designated helper can assist with on the day. This helps the group photos go quickly and smoothly while I focus on capturing those beautiful moments.

09. Do you offer printing, albums, or invitations?

Yes — your online gallery includes options to order prints, albums, keepsakes, and even wedding invitations directly through my website for convenience. I can assist with album design or print recommendations if you’d like.

10. Do you provide posing guidance?

Yes! I gently guide couples and families to help you feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. My goal is always to capture genuine emotion, connection, and joy.

11. Can we add hours or customize coverage?

Yes! Additional hours are available at $500/hour, including ~80 extra edited images per hour.

12. What is your rescheduling and cancellation policy?

For engagement sessions:
• First reschedule is complimentary if requested 21+ days in advance.
• Reschedules within 21 days: $250 fee; within 24 hours: $350 fee; within 12 hours: full session fee forfeited.

For weddings:
• Date changes are subject to availability and may require a new agreement.

13. Do you have insurance?

Yes — I carry professional liability insurance, and can provide documentation if your venue requires it.

14. Can we meet or chat before booking?

Of course! I offer a free 15-minute video call for wedding inquiries so we can connect, chat about your vision, and see if we’re a good fit before you commit.
